J.B. Alexander High School

UISD needed a new high school located in the northeastern part of Laredo. The new high school was to be built in two phases. Phase I was to have the core building, consisting of the gymnasium and cafeteria at each end, and in the middle a library, administration, a band hall. The periphery would be classrooms. Part of Phase I also consists of two classroom wings and one science wing for a total of 1500 students. Phase II would consist of 3 additional classroom wings.
